We are fortunate to be invited for the conference called “Good Jobs, Green Jobs Conference” in Washington D.C. We are excited to learn the latest about job market in the sustainability space. Our goal is to share our voice with fellow attendees and speakers and exchange our thoughts for the job creation in the field. Green Jobs National Conference will bring labor union members, environmentalists, business owners, community leaders and elected officials from across the country together in one place for one of the country’s largest discussions on how to build a cleaner, more efficient American economy. In the face of all that has happened, we have a tremendous opportunity.
The 2013 Conference will focus on how to grow the clean economy to scale; the role of strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors in solving the country’s pressing economic and environmental challenges; how regulations protect us while creating new markets; and how people in every part of the U.S. are working collaboratively for social, economic and environmental justice, while building an economy with good jobs.
