Last year, the Green Festival staged at the Javits Center in NYC celebrated Earth Day and attracted an estimated 25,000 green-minded individuals in the area. We were inspired by speakers such as Amy Goodman of Democracy Now! and vendors promoted everything from reusable water bottles and fair trade chocolates to organic wine.
Good news is that Green Festival is returning to NYC! Grab your family and friends and head to New York Green Festival April 20 – 21 for a special green at the Javits Center.
Ampleen is currently working with the Host Committee of the festival and developing the exciting programs. The Festival will feature favorites, like the organic, vegetarian and vegan food court; the Sierra Club Green Cinema; eco-fashion exhibits; hands-on DIY workshops; live music; an organic beer and wine garden.
