A green small business is popping up everywhere in U.S. but, we still need a lot of support from mainstream consumers like us. Green America is one of the strong advocates to provide a guidance and necessary supports to a green small business and is currently hosting an award contest.
The quarterly “People & Planet Awards” recognize innovative entrepreneurial U.S. businesses that integrate environmental and social considerations into their strategies and operations. This quarter, the Awards are focused on green businesses that also have a strong commitment to creative recycling and waste management.
Green America has selected the top ten finalists for this winter’s People & Planet Awards. Each of the ten businesses below made it through a very competitive initial round of voting by the panel of expert judge. Now they need your vote to decide which will take home the $5,000 prize.
