2016 has been a rough year. Definitely not our favorite. But it’s our choice to leave it all behind as we look forward to 2017. It’s a fresh start and we are so excited for the opportunities the future has in store. We hope that these tips will boost your mood and leave you feeling happier and more productive in 2017.
1. Streamline Your Surroundings: You’ll be surprised how our surroundings influence our mood and thoughts. By clearing up and streamlining your life, like getting rid of things and cutting off negative people, you will have a clear intention. Start with one drawer that you always seem to have a trouble finding things.

2. Perform Daily Kindness: We are happier when we receive positive feedback from others or see an improvement in others’ lives when we give. In fact, new Harvard and Georgetown studies prove the point. Giving is a powerful tool to drive our life positively. Initiate a call today to someone who would appreciate a human connection during the holidays.
3. Practice Self-care: You need A LOT of energy to find the silver linings in bad situations. You’ll feel more energetic when you listen to your own body. This can be simple, like adding a few more hours of sleep or, even drinking a glass of water before going to sleep.
4. Create a Stronger Inner-world: I practice 20-minutes of meditation every morning over last 10 years and find that meditation is tremendously helpful to shut outer noise and bring focus on my own intention – what’s the purpose of life? By writing a journal or open-letter to yourself, you can also create a dialogue with yourself. This coming weekend set aside an hour to connect with your inner-world?
